Realme GT 8 With Massive 7,000mAh Battery to Launch Alongside GT 8 Pro in October
Realme is set to unveil its GT 8 series in October 2025, featuring the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro. The GT 8 may come with a 6.6-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, and a massive 7,000mAh battery.

Realme is preparing to launch the much-anticipated GT 8 series by releasing two flagship models – the Realme GT 8 and Realme GT 8 Pro – in China in October 2025. The two are expected to come with significant design improvements and performance enhancements alongside larger batteries.
Newer leaks have focused on the standard GT 8, whereas prior leaks concentrated on the Pro version. New details from Weibo reveal that the standard GT 8 will likely feature a 6.6-inch flat screen and a 7,000mAh battery, which is unusually large. Also, the GT 8 Pro is expected to come with a 6.85-inch 2k OLED panel which is a massive upgrade from previous iterations.
Both devices will most likely come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, a Realme UI 7 based on Android 16, and a redesign that was previously hinted at.
Along with the other rumored features, the GT 8 Pro is expected to receive significant camera upgrades: a 200 megapixel periscope telephoto lens, enhanced haptics, dual speakers, a metal middle frame, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor will all be newly added features.
Expected Pricing:
Although the pricing remains unofficial, the GT 8 Pro is reported to be priced aroud 3,999 yuan, equivalent to roughly ₹48,700. This is higher than the GT 7 Pro’s launch price of ₹43,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant.
